I just recently lost my beloved 15 year old jack russell terrier to congestive heart failure and cancer. Doctor Meadows and his staff cared for him and kept him comfortable for the last few years of his life. From Megan and Nancy at the desk, to doc himself, I knew my best friend was always in good hands. When I knew the heart wrenching time had come to say goodbye, I called doc on his personal line and he got out of bed at 12:30 am to open the office and help us send my beautiful dog to Heaven and end his suffering. I don't know any other vet who would do that. He personally drives your deceased friend to a pet crematorium an hour away and picks them up for you because he trusts their practices. I am currently waiting for mine. If you're looking for a vet that truly loves his work and animals, Dr. Meadows is someone you can trust. He's given me price breaks on hospitalization and services without my even asking and my Jack's passing was professional and humane. Someday when I have the strength to love another dog, Dr. Meadows will care for them too. If he seems standoffish at first, it's because he is focused on the health of your animal. He is a kind man and I am grateful to all of them for their care.
