We've been staying in Gatlinburg for 30 years and several times a year. This last house we stayed in was by far the worst ever. The house was cute as could be but we like to froze to death. We stayed on December 30 thru January 2, 2018. We had the heat on 72 and it never got above 67 the whole time we were there. We sat wrapped with blankets during the day. We would have taken another cabin but it being New Years, there was nothing left. There were openings around both doors and we had to put a blanket on the side door to keep the cold air out.
When we got there, the place smelled so bad that we had to spray Lysol "which I always take with me on trips" and then had to keep candles lit to keep the smell out.
It states it has a fireplace and all it was was a very small electric one that put out no heat at all. Their site states it has a grill, air hockey, ping pong, blender and has none of these. Like I said, it was a really cute little cabin but misrepresented the worst I have ever seen. No one should ever have to pay over $1000.00 to stay anywhere and be that miserable.
