Most sketchy dealer ever. Warranty lies and rusty screw holding on fender! 1/6/2018

I drove from Grand Rapids to purchase their 2016 Ford Transit-350 XLT, Vin number: 1FBZX2CG1GKA11213. I was shocked at closer inspection to find a rusted drywall screw holding on the driver-side rear fender, the driver side lower trim piece completely flapping, dents, scratches that were not disclosed. Worse than that, they played dumb on these issues, even though they have had it for over 4 months and have been driving it as their personal shuttle bus. Next, they tried to sell me a 60,000 / 5-year warranty that doesn't start when I buy it, but when the vehicle was first sold. This means the warranty was less than 10,000 miles and 2 years for $3000. FYI, you can purchase the exact same warranty, Ford's PremiumCare warranty, for less than 1/3 of that price. I have never had such a horrible sales experience. Specifically, it was Ben Kleis who was wonderfully helpful on the phone, but once I got there in person he acted as if he never knew the issues. He did share how much the employees used it for personal use, and even bragged that their use of it was a "good thing" because it would mean it had been taken care of, which it wasn't. But then he switched to pressure sales when he realized I wasn't buying it. Randy was the warranty salesman who I wouldn't trust with his terribly deceptive sales. Be warned. more
