Dr. Mott and Laura from Weatherford Regional we're the ones that admitted me to Kindred. It's a little far from where I stay but I didn't have much choice. Heard a lot of good news from the doctor about Kindred. Didn't really know what to expect from the hospital but all I knew was I needed additional therapy. What I have experience from the pulmonary program has been exceptional. Eric from the therapy department worked with me on my exercises and helping me to build my endurance and muscle strength. Also Ron a really cool guy who is the instructor for the pulmonary program taught me a lot of things that I didn't know before. Which was helpful because now I'm not only educated but I'm also able to do the things that I didn't do before. After my discharge, I'll be receiving additional therapy in Weatherford and looking forward to it.
But I have some really great nurses who work with me that include Lawanda, Carrie and Romeo. Lawanda has been terrific. She has a very pleasant and polite demeanor while the care has been very good. One of the nicest nurse I have met in quite some time. Carrie and Romeo also fit into that same politeness category. Actually the whole nursing staff has been exceptional.
I did have some problems with the food some items didn't come. For example one day I have tater tot's but no hamburger. They also forgot to bring the condiments. But they were able to take care of it. That would be the only suggestion for improvement that I would recommend.
I would have no problem to recommend anybody to come to Kindred for therapy. I hope my experience that I am sharing with you helps in your decision.
