We were incredibly disappointed with Weddings By The Falls and their service person Lani Emmons. We booked our wedding through her after finding positive reviews online. We requested to see the chapel venue on a trip to Niagara Falls last weekend, and were told by Lani that this company does not show their locations prior to the ceremony. We decided to take a walk by the building and found to our horror that it was not a nice building as described, but rather a building that is in shambles. Do yourself a huge favor and don't make a deposit until you have seen the venue itself if you plan on getting married in the chapel. It is located in a tacky gift shop that sells keychains and kabobs and has many missing windows. We cancelled our reservation immediately and were refused a refund. This company takes advantage of people from out of town, knowing that most of them won't visit until the day of their wedding-making it impossible for them to find another place to be married. If we would not have seen this building prior to our wedding, it would have ruined our day entirely. We were told by Lani that the building has nothing to do with the services she provides. This is beyond false. The venue in which your company resides has everything to do with your company's image. We now understand why this woman refused to give us five minutes of her time this weekend. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. I have posted this review to Yelp, along with a picture, as it is my hope that this review helps someone considering this venue. We wish we had seen some more honest reviews prior to making a deposit and would like to save someone the heartache and headache we have experienced. Very disgusted and disappointed in this so-called Christian service.
