I am new to Portland and when my cat became sick with fleas and stopped eating for several days I brought her to Rose City Veterinary...BIG MISTAKE,!!
First, Dr. martin was clueless as to what was ailing my cat. The fact is he was unconcerned with finding out. He did not conduct a proper physical exam, refused to listen to her immediate history or become informed. What he was interested in doing was ordering multiple expensive tests, such as an MRI. I would have agreed, except he gave no medical justification for these tests and stated he did not know what was wrong with my cat. I explained to him she was being ravaged by fleas, but that did not concern him.
I left Rose City Veterinary with no diagnosis, no meds, no treatment plan and almost $1,000.00 lighter....oh, and with a sick cat.
I nursed my kitty, and Brought her to ...., where she received GREAT care and is now doing fine...no thanks to Rose City Veterinarian.
Avoid this place...they do not care about you or your pet...they just want money.
