My tub had been running slow, and taking a while to drain. I should have called Boston Standard Company immediately, but I did attempt to fix the clog, only to make it worse. I called Boston Standard, and when i explained the situation, they were able to schedule a visit very soon. Misha visited initially, but recognized that the pipe from the sink was also corroding, causing the issue, and that more work would be necessary. He explained everything, and re-assured me i had not damaged the pipe in my attempt to fix the issue. Ivor then visited, and was able to repair the clog based on information provided by Misha, and also fix the sink pipe (and another pipe in the wall). Both Misha and Ivor were extremely familiar with the plumbing in older apartment buildings (mine is circa 1969), and let me know of other plumbing issues that also should also be addressed in my condominium. Both technicians were simply excellent in professionalism and expertise, and spent a great deal of time to ensure the clog was addressed safely, and that other maintenance issues also addressed, giving me great peace of mind.
