Two years ago a Storm Tight sales person came to my home and explained what kinds of windows they have and how great it was. He had used a heat gun to show us that the heat would not penetrate through the window and that it would keep you home cool during the hot summer days and warm in the cold winter nights. So after awhile, I felt that it was all a lie. It's not hot out but when I stand next to the window, I feel the heat. Also, when the installation of the windows were done, I notice that the paint jobs around the window were chipped because of the installation. I asked if they were to fix that problem because they were the ones that chipped it and they told me that that is not their problem and that we had to fix that ourselves. Another thing that I didn't like about the men working on the windows when they were at my home was that they turned on the air conditioning all the way to 40 degrees F. without our permission. When they were done with all the installations, they stole a couple rolls of our paper towels that were stored in our garage. This window installation was very costly already and on top of that they steal from you. I didn't call their office for the couple rolls of paper but just wanted to warn future consumers to beware of them when they are in your home if you decide to use them. If I could go back in time, I would not have used their service.
