The overall care at Kindred is great. Most of the staff, nurses, CNA's, RT, Therapist and so on is so caring, loving and sweet. My mother went in on a vent, trach and doing dialysis. In her almost 1 month stay they were able to completely wean her from the vent and trach and she. I longer requires dialysis. When she went it it looked highly unlikely that she would not make a full recovery. But the great staff worked with her and she has almost made a full recovery. She will be going to her own home tomorrow to finish recovering. The only thing that is keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is due to a few minor set backs. Once she was moved out of ICU and down the hall, the staff seemed to be understaffed and over worked. It takes forever for anyone to come in the room after hitting the nurse call light, sometimes over an hour and sometimes the issue resolved itself (not always in the best way), and a few times it was never even addressed that the nurse call light was hit. If not for this, they definitely would've got a 5 star rating. I would more than likely use this facility again or recommend to friends.
