I am overseeing the care of my sister whom had a fall and became very ill. In the beginning the difficult part was the transition from the other hospital. But once the people at Kindred helped me understand the care they provide, I was so much better.
There were so many people that were kind, compassionate, and went the extra mile. It was that kind of care all the time with the nurse supervisor, nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, and even the administrator. People like Lala, Michelle, Iris, Lorna, Katie, Cindy, and Merlene always tried so hard to help my sister get better, to educate me and our family and to make sure we felt secure in her care. These people were truly the bright spots in our day.
Today we are transitioning to rehab and I do hope she does well. But I know in my heart that she got great care here at Kindred Hospital was exactly what she needed.
