Great Service from Eric 10/28/2017

It is easy to give a five star review when everything goes as planned with both parties. A company shows its true colors when something goes wrong or not as planned. My Experience with Rescue Rooter started by clicking a google adwords ad for a $88 drain cleaning. I called the main number and the dispatch person scheduled me. They confirmed the price was $88 to unclog my toilet if i had a cleanout which i did. Everything seems good. They said they would be there within 60mins. WOW. Other companies quoted me $150+ and some even after-hours charges. Other companies would also have taken a few hours to get here. Either way not bad but I gave rescue rooter a try for the price/speed. 15mins later i get a call from someone else at the company confirming the appointment. Telling me that it will only be $88 if i have a cleanout. I do have a cleanout so i confirmed this info again to the second person and she said the tech will be here in 45mins. Right on time Eric the technician shows up. He is very nice and professional and arrives in a Rescue Rooter official truck with what looks like all the parts needed to get the job done. Then Eric quotes me $280. This is where many customers would get angry. I'm not emotional like that. I tell eric i was quoted $88 and confirmed with multiple people and $88 is all I am paying. Eric is super professional about it, It's not his fault but rather a problem with dispatch/communication and his boss. Eric calls the boss and here's the solution he offers me. He will snake the toilet for $88 and if that doesn't work i don't have to pay. I wasn't ready to spend more without other quotes but there was no reason not to do that. Eric ended up going the extra mile to snake it a few times and ended up fixing it. I gladly paid him the $88, along with my complements. Eric also explained what he was doing so i felt comfortable the whole time and maybe next time I could do it myself. You got a good guy on your team! Cleanup the ... more
