All of the nursing staff is efficient and treats you as if you're not in a hospital setting by demonstrating that they truly care. My favorite nurse had been Penny, she has made me laugh many a times which always livens up my mood - she even stops to give me a hug when I'm downstairs in therapy. Most nurses joke around with me which has been the best medicine I could have received while being here, and I sincerely mean it. I think the main thing about coming to a rehab hospital is the attitude that you have and to make up your mind that you're coming for a reason to get well and trust in the staff that they will help you throughout they way! I am so pleased that I am here getting better, I trust the doctors and employees. I can even say that I've enjoyed most of the food here, the best thing I've eaten here are the burgers, they are soooo tasty! An extra special employee at Kindred who makes it possible to keep up with my favorite baseball team, The Astros, is Javier with Admissions. While signing my admission paperwork I said that my only complaint was that the TV did not have a channel to watch The Astro's games on... He remembered and has come up to my room several times throughout the weeks I've been here to show me updates and highlight video clips on his phone, it doesn't take but five minutes out of his day but it goes to show the compassion of the employees here. I was truly touched by his kindness and it has made me feel extra special. I would definitely recommend this hospital to family and friends!
Thank You Team!!
