My wife has been a long time member today she had her purse stolen from woman's locker room. Couple months ago she had a pair of shoes stolen. She had everything in there and called me crying.
Once I arrived there I was shocked to observe how insensitive staff were towards her as a victim. Totally indifferent as though this is a daily occurrence for them. A man confronted me while I was trying to help my wife to complete the so called report and questioned whether I was even a member there? And questioned my tone when I asked if he was in charge.
Very Insensitive , rude and obnoxious and not civil towards a victim who was in tears. And keep repeating we are not responsible.
Then a lady came forward and introduced herself as a co manager of Gino and tried to be "nice".
They refused to provide the phone number for their management or corporate contact and did not even have business cards and Brooke after I asked her ended up writing her name on a scratch piece of paper.
Talking to other members theft has increased at this location both at mens and woman's lockers. This place has only gone down the hill since the new ownership.
As you recall last year a yoga instructor was sexually assaulted at this place. . We will not leave this alone. Owners must realize they have a responsibility towards members and their safety. And their staff is not representative of the civility they should be. Unless this behavior is endorsed by the owners. We intend to follow up with the management or owners and will update the progress by future posting. The one star is by force to post this
