Prior to my admission to Kindred, I was at St. Luke's receiving treatments for appendix surgery, and was told that I would need Long term acute care for the continuation of IV antibiotics, nutrition monitoring, and physical therapy. All of my experiences here have been peaceful and very satisfactory!! Anne, RN, has always been pleasant and encouraging, and shows genuine concern about my health. The physical therapy team has been good - I've worked with Tasha and she has been informative regarding the therapy exercises I can do. Even the therapy techs, who escort me to the gym, have all been extremely kind to me as well. Each time I pressed the call light the unit secretary reasonably answers and within 10 minutes of me telling them my needs I am seen by a nurse. I did not have to endure long waiting periods before someone came into my room, which is kind of unusual for most hospitals. This was another reason why I have had such a satisfactory experience here.
Thank you all!
