In the 40's and 50's Ottumwa had a thriving downtown. Then they paved in our main street and everything went down hill. Quincy Place Mall is small mall but we are a large town trying to make it back to a great retail hub. It has great anchors, Herbergers,, J.C. Penney's and M.C. Sporting Goods. We have 2 of your typical name brand young people clothing stores also Marices, and Christan Banks, 2 eateries, 1 full service salon, 1 shoe store, 1 jewelry store, 1 nail salon, 1 accessary shop, 1 Bath and Body, 2 locally owned craft or accessary stores, and a cell phone shop in the middle. Considering the nearest large city mall is 100 miles from Ottumwa, I consider that our mall is excellent and always trying to improve. You could find what you need in a pinch. Pam Reynolds
