Dr Birkmire and his staff actually make me feel at home the staff is friendly and personable and the dr is I'm formative and listens to what I have to say at the same level in which he speaks. Never have I felt inferior or uneducated in his company. More the opposite he diagnosed spot on with my grief issues and ptsd he listens to what I say and tells me if I have a misinformed opinion or knowledge without talking down. I feel like it is a true 2 way dialogue rather than the shut up and listen I have found with other health care providers. I hope to never have to find another psychiatrist because I know they would pale in comparison
