I had been in low to moderate lower back and hip pain for 2 years or more and had figured it was just the price i was paying for entering my 60s and that a hip replacement was coming. This culminated in my waking up one day in so much pain it took an hour to get out of bed and get dressed, especially putting on shoes. A friend told me to try a chiropractor and I called the office of a man I had seen in 1977 when last I had severe back pain. His son, Paul Spell, had taken over the practice. They got me in immediately, his front desk lady and staff were extremely kind, sympathetic and competent. After X-rays they diagnosed my problem as related to sacroiliac out of place, I had several sessions which not only completely alleviated my lower back and hip problem but also cleared up some pain and weariness feeling I was having between my shoulder blades. I would have paid what they were asking to get rid of the back pain but they filed my insurance for me and I paid a reasonable copay. Getting up after sitting down for more than 20 minutes and getting in and out of my car (in which I make my living) are now pain free and easily done. I was also given some exercises and strategies to maintain my new pain free condition. I give them 5 stars and would highly recommend anyone give them a try if you are having back pain or any issue related to the possibility of having it alleviated through chiropractic measures. The last session I came to I was told since I was not having a problem that there was no need of the session, to call back when and if I may have a problem and to let them know if I ever felt the need to return for adjustment. I cannot say enough good things about the competent way they handled my case and the kindness of the people in this practice.
