Overpriced and Poor Customer Service 6/1/2015

I had been a good customer of Baker Whitney for over 3 years until a recent incident that occurred and prompted me to leave for another local oil company. I originally signed on with BW because I live in Acton and wanted to support a local business...even though their prices are significantly higher than other suppliers. Things were fine, they delivered my overpriced oil on schedule, I paid them every cent that was owed, and then one cold April day I ran out of oil. Unbeknownst to me, I was late on a bill and they made a call not to deliver any oil to me and let me run out. Mind you I have been a customer for over 3 years, and the bill in question was less than 30 days late. They then charged me over $100 to come out and restart my burner. It took the delivery person 5 minutes to start it and they were already out here delivering the oil so it's not like they made a special trip or anything. The kicker in all of this, and the thing that made me take to social media to write this negative review is...that I sent a diplomatic and thoughtful letter to them to voice my displeasure about what happened and their response was to send me a bunch of highlighted statements and contracts showing me the few times that I was late in the 3 years as a customer and also some highlighted contract language. I swear they must of used an entire highlighter ...honest. I just don't understand how they consider this customer service. I'm in the customer service industry and would NEVER treat a customer like this. Good Bye BW hello reasonably priced and hopefully customer focused Bursaw Oil more
