When you are court ordered to see Dr. Bashkoff it is important to remember that she has her own agenda. She makes her money by charging $650. per person for a "psychological" evaluation and between $3,000 and $5,000. to testify. This evaluation is based on approximately 30- 90 minutes of time she will spend with each person asking very specific questions. She will then write a report on HER opinion of you and your situation. Dr. Bashkoff does not perform this service because she is compassionate or cares about you or your family. She makes her very good living reporting to the court system what she chooses. It would not serve her well to always tell the truth. If she has a relationship, working or otherwise, with an attorney, judge etc. it benefits her to flavor her report to assist them. Otherwise, she would lose business. Her behavior during these sessions is very confrontational and regardless of her bias or unethical behavior she is protected by the court system and cannot be held accountable. I believe that Dr. Bashkoff has convinced many people that she is an authority on many topics however, she is clearly a very sad individual with an education.
