While I admit I was late for my appointment, the way my arrival was handled was condescending and insulting. The receptionist told me to wait at the desk so she could ask the doctor if she would still see me.
I was told, in front of all other waiting patients that I would not be seen and would have to reschedule. I live over a half hour drive away, and have certainly had to wait in this office for the doctor before, like everyone else was already doing. 15 minute rule? Does that mean the patient gets to walk after waiting 15 minutes as well? Reschedule?? Don't think so. I expected to have to wait since I was late, but I didn't expect to be humiliated and turned away. No referrals from me anymore either.
