Tech identified problem of small animal chewing wires in the heat pump quickly and suggested reasonable approach to preventing reoccurrance. I would never have guessed that these animals are attracted to the electrical fields produced by the unit. Hinson would be well advised to alert customers that this sort of thing is a potential problem at time of installation or soon after.
