Our landlord called them out to fix our AC. Campbell wanted to charge him $2600.00 to replace the fan motor and the compressor which he said was fried or to replace the whole thing for a slightly cheaper option. After price shopping, our landlord got a different company to come out and replace the whole unit. When the guy got here he said it could be fixed by replacing a $35 part that went out which controls the fan and compressor. We went a week without AC in Texas during the summer. During this time our parents drove from DFW to bring us a portable AC unit which ended up leaking on the carpet and we had to pay for our carpet to get cleaned. All this could have been avoided if they actually knew what they were doing. more
