I'm not a very creative person and I always rely on photographers to help me create a beautiful picture. I feel like Artisan photographers kind of let me down on this. I was hoping to use a sash I wore in my wedding for my daughter's new born pictures and the photographer didn't really incorporate it at all in the pictures. Plus for the price we paid, I didn't really like the pictures measured up to my expectations.
I felt that their pricing was a little sketchy. The first thing I let them know was that I was planning on using the photos for the birth announcements. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. Then when I asked how much it was I was told they would work on a package that was good for me. I paid $900 for 7 pictures, where were all smaller than 11x7 and most of them were 5x7's. It also did not include digital pictures or rights to the pictures. I was told that would be another $99 per picture. Sigh, so I bought 7 very plain new born/family pictures. Oh well lesson learned.
