I have been searching for an new hvac system for my home for seven years. In 2007 Sears had their Contractors put in a heating system but in 2013 are air conditioner was inoperable. We began calling places to get estimates on an air conditioner. Tom Hatfield with Bell Brothers came to the home; he walked in went to the unit and said that will be $8000. He went on to say your heater that you paid $4500 in 2007 is no good, you have to replace everything and if your ducts are bad the cost will go up. He handed us a empty folder with his name, phone number and the price he quoted. We were completely disappointed in the way we were treated and felt prejudged by his demeanor. He was too cool to check the ducts, measure the square footage or explain what we would pay $8000 for. He was done and gone in 15 minutes. Today, we had Kenneth L Hartman from Beutler air conditioning & plumbing give us an estimate; he was personable and explained why our heater had to be replaced, that the whole system was not upto code. He was kind and reassuring through the entire process. He checked the ducts, measured the square footage and looked at the old unit and pad. Ken sat down with us and explained point by point what needed to be done. He showed us the pricing charts and the different units available for the size of the home. Ken got us in contact with a financial institution that approved us on the spot and scheduled the job for the next business day. We are so happy to have met Kenneth Hartman with Beutler today; he is extremely knowledgeable in his job and very courteous. There was no hard sale or pressure. Thanks Charles and Doll
