It could just be one person but the only time I recall having any communication with the bank was in seeking to find a mortgage lender. We were cleared for a little additional home so we could visit family members in the area. We were told this was an "investment" and we would need a twenty percent deposit. No it isn't an investment it was an attempt to spend some time closer to family. I found the response of the phone person rude, unhelpful, insulting and unsympathetic. No one else had replied to our requests for information in this way, not one. The enquiry was made in a polite way ; there was no provocation on our side whatsoever. more
