Buyer Beware! 4/11/2014

We are currently on our 3rd washing machine in one week from this Sears Outlet Store. We first purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio. After getting the washing machine home and hooked up, we tried running it through a wash cycle. The machine would fill up with water then it would just stop and drain the water out without ever washing. The very next day we took the washer back and were given another to try. Get home, the washer does the exact same thing. Fills up with water then drains without going through the cycle, except this time the water drained onto our floor! After going back and begging the store to exchange the washer again(this is against their no refund policy) we bought a new Kenmore. We were told that this washer was certified-meaning they had tried it in store and that it would for sure work. So we load the washer and take it home thinking that would be the last time we'd have to contact Sears. Wrong! The washer worked one time and hasn't worked since. It gets stuck in the wash cycle. Sometimes if we unplug it and plug it back in it will work. So we call the customer service number and they tell us they will send someone out in a week to check it out! We are told that they will call 1hr before being at the house. The day of the appt they called to tell us they were on their way, then showed up 25mins later! Well, since we were at work we were not able to get home in time for the appt. So now, they're telling us it will be ANOTHER week before they can come back out to our house. I wish we had just tried to get our money back after the 2nd time of taking our washer back. They are selling defective merchandise! Such a rip off! more
