Diagnosis of loss of balance 3/2/2014

We had brought our aged Lab in because she was experiencing what we thought was an ongoing seizure. She could not get up off the floor and continuously flicked her eyes about, turning her head to the right and back. We carried her in to Angell and it was only about ten minutes before a vet called us in. It did not take long for her to allay our fears and explained about the idiopathic loss of balance which is not all that uncommon. Nor is it permanent. This prooved to be spot on in our case and our dog seems perfectly normal at this point some four weeks later. We were very thankful for the quick entry, the kind treatment, and remain incredibly impressed, including when the bill appeared which was shockingly low in comparison to what we had expected. Thank you all! more
