I wish I had done things different & read reviews first I would not have gone here! I too was told the problem was one thing then told as it was in the shop that something else was wrong. Should have gotten second opinion. Car was brought in for a belt. I got a call later saying alternator and AC compressor were jammed and the car no longer runs. When asked how much I was told a few hundred could be saved if I went with salvaged parts but car is probably not worth it. I confirmed with John the counter guy that the car did not run. I should have checked. instead I sold it to the salvage yard that John recommended, who I later found out work with Westland Car Care. The car actually did run. I found out when I went to clean it out before the tow truck got there. I went inside too talk with John and very clearly he was aggravated. He looked at me and spoke to me like I was stupid. He then tried to back peddle and say he didn't know he told me it didn't run. I reaffirmed that he had and he told me wrong. His response again was rude and basically said oh well!! Icould have gotten mor $ from the scrap yard if the car ran and may have been able to sell it for more than $350. BOO on you Westland Car Care. NEVER AGAIN!!!
