I went to Republic Tire after my tire blew out on January 3, 2014. I was 3rd in line to get a tire, but once I received the tire I was surprised to have been charged $25. That was $5 less than what I was told (I thought the discount was due to the wait) so I was happy. Less than 50 miles after I replaced it, the tire they sold me fell off the rim. Unfortunately, this happened Monday night and since they're closed on Tuesday I had to wait to resolve this issue. I have since misplaced my receipt, but contacted Republic Tire to explain the situation and offered to bring my debit card statement showing the $25 charge on my card. I was told that they sell their tires for $30 and that the $25 dollar charge on my statement would not be sufficient to replace the tire. I am out $25 and will still have to replace the tire they sold me. I am seriously displeased with the service I received and honestly, it does not seem like they care at all to rectify the situation. Had the tire come off the rim while I was driving, it could have seriously harmed me and anyone that would have been impacted by the shoddy work done by this tire shop, not that Republic Tire cares at all. I would not recommend this shop to anyone and urge you to stay away for your own safety
