Just Us Kids may seem like a nice day care. It seems clean and well maintained. The director seems nice during the initial visit.
HOWEVER.....Having been with Just Us Kids since summer of 2011 for the past two years, I cannot recommend them. I wish I could give negative stars.
The Director, Nancy Beall, is extremely unfriendly and mean spirited. When she is sitting at the front desk in the mornings or afternoons, she will not even say hi to you. She does not even acknowlegde that you are there. Just Us Kids did install a a push button system to open their front door after the Conneticut Newtown shootings happened, so there is no way for them to not know that you are there. Still, no greeting. No good morning, no eye contact, no nothing. You're a ghost. She seems like a racist too.
The Assistant Director, Jennifer York, is a bit better, but not by much. She seems to be becoming more and more like the Director with each passing day.
The teachers seem OK, but seem discouraged that they have to work for the Director.
It's really unfortunate that these guys are still in business and that our choice as parents is really limited in the WL area. If you can get your child in to the Lab School or MCLC at Purdue, I'd like to suggest that you do so. Even Burgett's. Anywhere else but here. Run away from Just Us Kids! Run away now!!!!!!!!!
