Don't go to this place!
When I went to get my oil changed I thought that I could trust Meineke since there a known name. I purchased the middle priced oil change thinking I could use my tires being checked and balanced….after waiting for an hour and half I was informed all 4 tires need weights at $5 a piece (yay another $20 on a $39.95 oil change). They then rotated my tires and a nice tire wobble presented itself. I took it back and they showed me what my tires looked like while the car was on the lift informing me that I had 2 bent rims and tire out of round and that was causing the wobble. I then told them to rotate the tires to the back where they came from so the wobble would stop.
2 weeks later I found 2 rims at local scrap yards and took my car to a maiden mechanic I trust to find the 2 bent rims and replace them. While at the mechanics I watched them test all 4 tires on the car and was informed that I only had 1 bent rim and that it was still located on the front of my car not the back as I was led to believe when I left Meineke. The mechanic told me it was obvious which one was bent when they placed it in the machine that balanced my tires….so how was this such a hard task at Meineke?
