Our heater quite after my husband tried to change our thermostat with one from Home Depot. The technician came by, changed a fuse in the furnace and we were up and running. He made my husband feel better by saying it happens all the time. The instructions can be misleading on how you are suppose to turn off power to the furnace. Anyway, nice serviceman and he only charged us for the trip fee of $50.
