I bought a groupon for my daughter. When filling out the paperwork my daughter said yes she has insurance and said with who. She said all i want is what the 99$ groupon covers. Then the dr did tests and billed the insurance co. She never gave him her ins card so i did not think he could do. He looked the info up using her name. From what i understand this is common for him to scam like this, someone in the office told us. All we wanted was what the groupon covered and he said this is covered- making us believe he meant by the groupon but he was going to bill the insurance. Tests he did were unnecessary and stupid. I read similar complaints online that have since disappeared.
I asked for a receipt and you would think i was speaking a foreign language so who knows what would have been billed if i did not get it.
This man is taking advantage of health insurance companys and scamming people. I hope he gets caught and suffers the consequences.
Dont go see this doctor.
