Shafer sold me two top of the line new systems in 2006 and for the next 6 years they consistently leaked, required service and the minute the warranty was out required new motors, components and other expensive replacements. David in their office is arrogant and rude and while most of their techs are very good there are a few that are HORRIBLE - one had drilled a hole in the attic attempting to fix a drainage problem (which I had paid for several times before finally getting the blockage fixed 4 paid for trips later) and water was flowing through the ceiling smoke detector onto the carpet while they were laughing and joking upstairs. Just a very poor overall experience with the company (again not most of the techs) - asked to speak Jim on several occasions to look at my overall account or at least air my concerns to see if all my repairs and issues were the norm but was never successful. They just looked at each new trip or charge as a new issue - for me they were really adding up. I found the company insensitive and expensive. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
