A friend of mine told me about the excellent service he had gotten from K J Brands earlier this year. When our dryer stopped heating, I called them. Carl came out the next day within the window of time he had specified. He spent the next hour thoroughly and systematically going over the dryer, checking for electrical continuity everywhere. He thought I might need a new timer, but instead of jumping at an opportunity to sell me a part, he pursued a couple of other hunches. He tracked down a bad contact resulting from faulty installation of the dryer (by SK Lavery, who are crooks, by the way) and ultimately found that this had partially tripped a circuit breaker. For all this work he charged $85. Most appliance repair outfits charge more than that just to give your appliance a casual look. I can't imagine better appliance-repair service, and I've certainly never experienced it. I have told all my friends about KJ Brands in case they ever need an appliance repaired.
