First let me give you current ph/addy of Dr. Lapp (as of 9.12.2011) 619.297.4901./4045 3rd Ave, San Diego, Ca,92103.
I met Dr. Lapp by chance. I had been to at least 6 OBGYNs and had given up on the prospect of finding one I was comfortable with. In 1983 during my first pregnancy I selected a nurse practitioner within my HMO knowing that towards the end I would be assigned a delivery doc.
Enter Dr. Lapp. He made me feel so at ease. I could say so much but I'll spare you. My oldest is 28 and I refer my daughters to Dr. Lapp who, by the way delivered all 9 of my births! So you see I have had a lot of experience with this Doctor. I couldn't trust anyone more.
I have only two regrets:1)Dr. Lapp is not a GP whom I can see for any medical issue. 2) Someday he will retire.
