My daughter is a level 4 gymnast at Elite and she absolutley loves it! There is two coaches for her level for the most part, The head coach Emily can be extremly tough but she gets them to perform the skills, she is really good at conrtolling 15+ gymnasts at one time, something I dont think I could ever do. My daughter also really enjoys the assistant coach, Tori. She has a high level competitive background so the girls know that if they listen to what she says they could be as good as she was. She is closer to their age and since she has experienced this sport first hand, she understand what it is like to go through tough daily practices. She has really good examples and analogies when she is trying to help my daughter learn knew skills. My daughter is young so she doesnt always get the skill right off the bat and Emily sometimes gets frustrated but Tori never does. I watch her interact with the gymnasts and they all love her and she is awesome at giving them hugs when they are upset. I have seen so much improvement in just the last 2 months that it is outstanding. Just the other week my daughter didn't understand what oposititon was on balance beam so she put a hair-tye on her wrist so that way she knew what arm to put out. Its simple things like that, that makes a mom confident in the gym she sends her daughter to. She also has taught my yougest daughter's preschool class and man she is amazing at interacting with even the 3 and 4 year olds! One day out of the blue, Tori brought in some of her old Leotards for the level Fours and Fives but was kind enought to save one for my youngest who isnt on the team. Thanks so much for having amazing coaches Elite!
