A group of us ate at Zen Forrest last week and found the place almost empty. Although the owner was very hospitable and went out of his way to please us, the food was laced with fish oil, and the smell was overwhelming! The egg rolls tasted more like western rolls from Chili's (only they were tasteless) and somewhat bitter. Also, there was no bowl of fried noodles to munch on with duck sauce while we waited for our food like at all the other Chinese restaurants I have eaten in. All of our meals were saturated in a soy-fish oil sauce that was much too saturated. The place was immaculately clean, but dull decor. Everything WAY overpriced for the substandard quality. I would never return.
