I tried several times to get information on a patient that was admitted to ER. I was transferred to ER by the Receptionist. The number that she kept transferring me to no one answered the phone. I am aware that it's ER but I feel that there should be someone there to at least answer the phone for customers called inquiring about a patient. I know that Grady is under staff, however I think it's also important to have a line that will allow a patient family to check on them. I was not even able to verify that he was still there.
