The office of Dr. Dallman/Yea is very enticing to both parents and kids alike - Beautiful waiting room! Free coffee! Comfy couches! Balloons for the kids! Prizes! But when it gets down to it; the office isn't that kid-friendly after all. There is a reason the waiting room is so fancy; they WANT YOU TO STAY THERE!!! They do not want you back behind the large; sound proof doors. They do not want you to ask questions. If you start asking questions; they will accuse you of questioning their professional judgement. Not that I was completely AGAINST the treatment plan they had outlined for my child; I just had questions about it. Luckily; I have found a pediatric dentist in the area that I am much happier with (and whom also has an open-door policy; allowing you to be with your child if you wish). Ironically; this other dentist had basically the same treatment plan for my child; but she just did a much better job of answering my questions; and providing me with the answers I was looking for. If you are looking for a dentist that loves kids, is experienced, listens to parents and actively involves them in their childs' care, then keep looking. There is one out there.
