I'm from the southeast, so great Mexican food is few and far between for me. But let me tell you El Jarro is a place I could have eaten until I died from over indulgence. Simply amazing food. Tortillas are made fresh, by hand, right inside the restaurant. Everything I had was fantastic. It was so good I can't remember if I had anticuchos (and made my own tacos on the fresh tortillas) or if I had the fajitas [pretty close to the same thing] ... but the food was amazing. I considered moving to San Antonio so that I could eat at El Jarro regularly.
