I called on Monday and made an appointment for Tuesday morning. True to their word, the tech called me to let me know he was on his way. He arrived within the time window I had been promised. Derek was clean and neat, and wearing a company shirt. He quickly assessed the problems with my door, and then gave me a complete estimate in writing. At no time did he try to upsell me, which is a refreshing change from many companies I've dealt with. Within about an hour he had changed both springs, all the rollers, and had lubed and adjusted the other components. Total cost was just under four hundred dollars, which is not cheap, but it was lower than three of the four other estimates I got via phone. My twety-five year old door is now quieter and smoother than it's ever been in the ten years I've lived here. I'm happy that I chose Alamo, and would do it again.
