My first and only experience with Gymagine was not so good. I signed my daughter up for a Friday class and paid for the whole session (6 weeks of lessons I think). After the first lesson we were told that there was not enough participants so it would merge with the Thursday class (a day my daughter is unable to attend). My daughter was extremely disappointed, but to make matters worse, Gymagine would not give me a refund for the remaining lessons!!! They said I could only receive "credit" towards future lessons. I just about came unglued as I can't imagine any business thinking it is okay (or legal) to accept money from a customer and then not honor the agreement by switching the day of the class.
A few days later a "manager" called me and said she would give me a refund "this one time", but that their policy is usually NO REFUNDS only credit. I think Gymagine needs to study up on the law and the term "bait and switch" and they will learn that they are breaking the law by denying refunds when THEY cancel or change a date. It doesn't matter that they eventually give the refund if the customer complains enough. The fist time they say "no" to a refund request based on a change or a cancellation THEY make, they are breaking the law!!! Some one should report them!
We then joined another gym where we heard similar complaints about Gymagine "bait and switch" and "no refund policy" scam.
