We took a trip to Las Vegas for Super Bowl weekend at the Excalibur. After reading other reviews I was a bit worried when it came time to arrive and check in. After my stay, I can't wait to go back! Check in was a breeze. Friendly people to deal with. We had a Widescreen room which was very nice. We didn't have a view, we were over looking the back side of the castle. It was ok since we didn't plan on being in the room much anyway. Hotel room was spacious for 2 people. Bathroom was nice, beds were comfy. Casino floor was easy to navigate. Food court upstairs and other restaurants on main level. Sports book staff was great on Super Sunday. We had a blast! And the Packers won!!! The pool was nice, a bit chilly to swim but we did sit outside and enjoy the sun for a bit. If there was any complaint it would be the walk to the room. We had to walk the whole distance of the casino to Tower 2 with our luggage. Not bad for us but for an older couple may be an issue. There are alot of the time share people greeting you at the entrances and also trying to sell you show tickets. We just shook our head and kept walking. There is a charge for each day of $12.50 but it is like that at most hotels. For that you do receive wired internet service, use of the robes and fitness center. Not a bad deal. Will definately look at staying again when we go back.
