Situated next to the railroad tracks and in existence for probably 80 years, one is transported to the pre WW2 era with raw wood floors that creak just right and exposed beams, and the smell of steel, wood and a hint of machine oil, that only decades can produce. No pimple faced sales kids who wouldnt know the difference between a pipe wrench and a torque wrench, just good old fashioned sales clerks who will wait on you whether you need to purchase $100 or 50 cents worth supplies. NO ONE, including lowes, or home depot, has the hard to find fittings or hardware that these fine folks have, it is trully one of a kind. Most impressive is that I note that a great majority of their products are MADE IN THE USA!
