Good: We had a terrific experience with Yale when we renovated our kitchen. Prior to construction, we pre-ordered our Sub Zero fridge, Wolfe ovens & warming drawer, Diva induction cooktop, Sharp microwave and Asko dishwasher. Also, a new washer and dryer and kitchen faucets. We took immediate delivery on the washer & dryer, which served as the deposit for the entire order. When we finally took delivery of everything else over a year later, all of the original pricing was honored, saving us a ton of money!!!. Bad: We can't stand our Asko dishwasher. It has been a lemon from the very beginning. Serviced several times and still it is a complete dud. However, also puchaced the extended warrantee, so all of the service was covered AND we are getting a new Miele free of charge to replace the faulty Asko dishwasher.. Improvements: In the beginning, we could call the service department and have over-the-phone consultation with a technician. Often, I was able to diagnose a problem (or learn a better way to operate the appliance) saving the time of waiting for a technician to come out to the house. I wish Yale would bring back phone support because it is sometimes to juggle service appointments and a job.. Other: Even without phone support, the customer service at Yale TOP NOTCH. Everyone is so professional, friendly and knowledgable. The service department is EXTREMELY well managed. I like knowing I can count on them to keep my appliances running like new.. more
