I wanted to have a Special Birthday Cake delivered to my husband at his office in celebration of his 64th Birthday. I was absolutely amazed that I found a bakery (McLain's) that would deliver in the downtown KC area. Not only was the cake delicious, it was decorated in my husband's favorite football team theme, and it really made his day. About a week after the festivities, I received my receipt in the mail along with a hand-written note from the owner of McLain's, Don Peattie, stating he hoped everything went well with my Birthday surprise. It truly made my husband's 64th Birthday a very nice day. Thank you Don. I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.
