He is wonderful with children. At our first appointment, he spent several minutes entertaining our 3 year-old with small toys and finger puppets, before even beginning his examination. He needed minor surgery, and Dr. Parelhoff came to see us in the pre-op waiting room, again chatting and playing with our son for a few minutes. Our son was so comfortable he brought Dr. Parelhoff a book and asked him to read it to him! The Woodbridge office is very busy, but the wait is worth it, especially if your child needs something more than a basic vision test.
