Older property, but comfortable.Nice staff. Nice room. Location good for the mall, just across the road. Stayed here twice, once on the way to Maine and on the way back( not that we had planned the latter) . When we left there the first time, we stopped in at the Christmas Loft. Mum realized she had lost an earring. We searched the Christmas Loft and car, with no joy. On our way back we had planned to stop at Stowe, but ended up making our way back to the Anchorage Inn . By chance I asked the young man behind the desk if an earring had been found. He looked in the drawer and there it was. It made my Mums day as it was a present from her sister. We wouldn,t hesitate to stay there again. Enjoyed the pool and the continental breakfast, even though it was only cereal and doughnuts( which felt and tasted fresh).
