We were new in the area and took our dog to be sheared because of hot weather. They requested that we permit them to sedate her which we did. They then said they needed to keep her overnight because she was a very sick dog. Finally we picked her up along with a bill for over $1000 and an abundance of medicines. Even though we continued the medications she became worse. We went to another vet for another opinion and followed his advice to take her off all medicines. We were able to save her but her stomach was in bad shape because of all the different antibiotics she was receiving. She is doing well now but only after careful monitoring with her eating to allow her to recuperate. Don't go here unless you have a lot of money to spend. I believe the second vet was exactly correct - she was over medicated.
